What Are Three Words You Would Use To Describe Grandma/Aunt Dolly?

  1. Three words to describe Grandma Dolly are: kind, smart, and patient. Kind because she was always smiling at me and those around her. Smart because I remember how she used to send newspaper articles all the time about things she wanted to share. She was always reading. And Patient because she put up with us girls always giggling.

  2. 3 words? That's easy - Sweet...Sweeter...Sweetest. I have a cool story to share. My college roommate, Dave, and I crashed at Grandma's one night in American Fork, while we were visiting friends in Provo for the weekend. After we returned to Rexburg the following day, Dave realized he didn't have his wallet and the last place he remembered having it was at Grandma's. I called her and she searched and searched, but to no avail. After a few days, she finally found it underneath the guest bed. She called for our address and sent it right away. When it came, Dave opened up his wallet to find a little pink sticky note in the bill sleeve. Dave thought that was funny because he knew he left nothing in there. The note said, "It looks like you ran out of these...here's one to get you started." She had slipped a one dollar bill along with the sticky note into his wallet. For years, Dave talked about how funny/thoughtful Grandma was. That might not seem like much, but she was as thoughtful and sweet as they come. - Greg S.
